Nancy Ivers first studied with Jane Leach in Pennsylvania and continued her studies at Pennsylvania State University, Columbia University, the Art Students League, the National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York, the Haystack Mountain School in Maine and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The artist's work has appeared in solo exhibitions at the Riverview Gallery and the Penthouse Gallery, both in New York. Her work has also been shown in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Tribeca Art Gallery in New York; The Fine Art Gallery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania; The National Center for Learning in New York; The YWCA in Brooklyn, NY; the Haystack Gallery in Maine; the Elaine Benson Gallery in Bridgehampton, NY; and the HUB Gallery at Pennsylvania State University. Her work has been reviewed in professional publications and resides in numerous public and private collections.
