BIOGRAPHY
Born in Norton Canon, Herefordshire in England, Charles Lucy was educated at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is well known as a painter of British history. His work is highly regarded for its artistic integrity. Lucy's paintings were often exhibited in the Royal Academy of Arts; however, some of his more notable works, including The Landing of the Pilgrim Fathers A.D. 1620, are displayed in historical museums in the United States.
